The Granite Shoals Police Officers Association is a force multiplier for the Department and the Community as a whole. Many of the duties performed by the department, including lake patrol, boater and recreational safety, high visibility patrol efforts for crime deterrence, K-9 Units capabilities and emergency response have been greatly enhanced thanks to the effort of the GSPOA.
Which is a direct result of the support and donations from the residents, property owners and friends of Granite Shoals.
The GSPOA funds raised go directly to support the GSPD officers and Department or to sponsorships and contributions to GSPOA designated Charities. Funds are directed to provide support to the department, not only through purchase of additional equipment and upkeep but in providing services to the members.
